Relegation-threatened Black Rhinos declare that they will force Highlanders to sweat for the points when they clash in a Castle Lager Premier Soccer League tie at Barbourfields.
Kick-off is 3pm.
Rhinos could find themselves at the end of a backlash from the 2006 league champions who want a quick return to winning ways following their 0-1 fall away to Dynamos last weekend.

However, their coach Arthur Tutani says his charges are ready for a drawn-out battle against Bosso.
“Highlanders are an extremely good side, whose pedigree cannot be undermined simply because of their loss to Dynamos. They are a team that is chasing the league title and would want to continue picking points especially at home.

“However, we are also fighting for survival and will be going to Bulawayo to compete for three points.
“They might probably expect a stroll in the park because of our standing on the log, but we will force them to sweat for the entire match.
“Morale is high in camp and the guys know our objectives and they obviously don’t include losing matches,” he said.

The fall to DeMbare was Bosso’s first defeat of the season and their coach Kelvin Kaindu has told his men that they need to bounce back as quickly as possible.

The likely departure of a number of their key players for South Africa could knock the home side off their stride.
Milton Ncube and Peter “Rio” Moyo have already left while defender Kumbulani Banda and the goalkeeping pair of Munya Diya and Arial Sibanda are also rumoured to be on their way out.

However, in Rahman Kutsanzira, Joel Ngodzo and Welcome Ndiweni the hosts should have enough ammunition to continue their title charge.

Bosso will have to prove their worth against a Rhinos side that can call on the services of inform goalkeeper Tapiwa Zvaita and the experienced trio of Bruce Homora, Wonder Kapinda and Shadreck Jimu.

A sterile strike force has been Tutani’s men biggest undoing and their six goals in 12 games makes them the league’s worst attacking team.
However, in Beaven Chikaka the visitors have a man who would want to prove a point or two against his former paymasters.

Today’s fixtures
Triangle United v How Mine, (Gibbo @ 1300hrs – SS 9), Highlanders v Black Rhinos (Barbourfields), Buffaloes v Chapungu (Sakubva), Caps United v Hwange (NSS)
