Premier Service Medical Aid Society (PSMAS) has taken its new look to exhibitions and other corporate events to allow its different stakeholders a chance to acquaint themselves and appreciate changes that have been taking place within the Society in recent years.

From the Zimbabwe International Trade Fair (ZITF), which took place in Bulawayo recently, PSMAS proceeded to the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show (ZAS) in Harare where, together with its largest healthcare service provider Premier Service Medical Investments, it showcased a number of technological innovations brought by their rebranding exercise in line with the new normal of doing business.

Some of the innovations on display included the chronic medicine programme specifically designed for PSMAS members with chronic illnesses, the wellness wearable health device designed to assist with lifestyle changes, PSMAS 24/7 Mobile Application, Contact Centre, Payment Gateway and the biometric member verification and electronic switching platform.

Speaking at the Harare Agricultural Showgrounds recently, PSMAS spokesperson Ms Paidamoyo Chipunza said a majority of these innovations were introduced to complement existing brick-and-mortar infrastructure, particularly in this Covid-19 era.

“We have introduced an array of products meant to provide a seamless service to our members and prospective members as far as access to any of our services is concerned.

“Instead of members coming physically to our offices, we are saying people can still reach us via these different platforms and have their issues attended to with the efficiency one would have received should they have come in person,” she said.

Visitors to the stand described PSMAS’ showcase as a “cut above the rest”.

“We have moved around other corporates’ stands, but what we have seen here is a cut above the rest in terms of adjusting to the new normal.

“Even so, everything on showcase is new from what we saw in the previous year.

“You have really been innovating, most importantly for your membership. I hope your members and prospective members will realise the value in all this work,” said Mr George Mutamba from Harare.

Members who joined during the exhibition also received immediate cover as the marketing team set aside waiting periods for all who joined during the show.

Great prizes and giveaways from the Society were also won during the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show as members were eager to participate in competitions that were aired on radio, registrations and those who downloaded the PSMAS Mobile App also got a chance to walk away with some branded giveaways.

Meanwhile, PSMAS participated in the Parliament of Zimbabwe (PoZ) charity Golf tournament held in Harare on Friday.

The Society had a chance to showcase its latest offerings to other corporates participating while contributing towards a worthy cause.

According to PoZ, proceeds of the tournament will go towards deserving charitable organisations identified by parliamentarians.
