A 13-year-old allegedly fatally stabbed a four-year-old child on Wednesday,after the two were left home alone, police have said.
The teenager is now on the run.
In a statement, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said: “On January 4, 2023, police in Plumtree are investigating a murder case involving a 13-year-old juvenile who allegedly stabbed a four-year-old infant (sic) to death after the two were left home alone in Mathendele Extension, Plumtree.
“The juvenile concealed the body under a bed before fleeing from the house.”
