GOVERNMENT, with the support of development partners and private players, has completed 1 736 houses for people that were displaced by Cyclone ldai, an official has said.
Department of Civil Protection director Mr Nathan Nkomo said:
“Government, with the support of development partners and private players, has now completed 1 736 houses for Cyclone ldai victims, with the housing in areas such as Chimanimani, Binga, and Tsholotsho.”
Government continues to prioritise disaster risk management initiatives to safeguard the gains of national development and mitigate the impact of climate change.
