ZANU PF Mashonaland Central province has assured the ruling party’s First Secretary, President Mnangagwa, of a resounding victory in the forthcoming 2023 harmonised elections.

This is on the back of several developments that have been implemented in the province.

The Second Republic has seen the revival of the Shamva and Eureka Gold Mines, and the construction of Karanda Bridge in Mt Darwin.

Exploration of oil deposits is also currently underway in Muzarabani.

In his welcome remarks, Zanu PF Mashonaland Central province chairperson, Cde Kazembe Kazembe, said Zanu PF provincial structures are fully behind the leadership of President Mnangagwa and will ensure his resounding victory in 2023.

“Mashonaland Central, with all its wings, will rally behind your leadership and that you win resoundingly in 2023,” Cde Kazembe said.

“They said they will support you religiously and loyally. The province is very united, unlike what is portrayed in the world media.”

Mashonaland Central Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Cde Monica Mavhunga commended President Mnangagwa for the development that the devolution programme has brought to the province.

“The opening of Eureka Mine, Shamva Mine, and the construction of Karanda Bridge in Mt Darwin cannot be underplayed,” Cde Mavhunga said.
