A 15-year-old girl was electrocuted while walking barefooted in water while trying to retrieve sandals that had been swept away.
In a statement on Wednesday, the Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) said investigations were underway.
“The ZRP reports a sad incident in which a 15-year-old female juvenile was electrocuted while walking barefooted in flowing water as she tried to retrieve her sandals which had been swept away by water in Warren Park 1 on January 10, 2023,” said police.
