Petrol prices further retreated by 9 cents to US$1,61 from US$1,70 per litre, while diesel is now selling at US$1,76, down from the previous US$1,80, according to a statement by the Zimbabwe Energy Regulatory Authority (Zera) on Wednesday.
The blending ratio has also been reviewed to E20, up from E15.
The new prices are with effect from Wednesday.
“Operators may sell the petroleum products below the prescribed prices depending on their trading advantages and should display prices in a prominent place as provided for by the fuel pricing regulations,” reads the statement.
