Mash-West ready for Copa Coca-Cola Finals

After successfully hosting the Mashonaland West the Copa Coca-Cola Provincial Finals, National Association of Secondary School Heads (NASH) Head in Charge Bernard Tavaguta says his province is ready to host the 31st edition of prestigious tournament.  Tavaguta said everything is in place for the tournament slated for July 11 – 13.

“We are happy to have successfully hosted the provincial finals as it was a trial run of the nationals which we will host in a fortnight,” he said.

“We are ready receive all the 24 teams, which consists of 12 boys and 12 girls’ teams from across the country,” said Tavaguta.

Jameson High School are the hosts for the girls’ tournament while the boys category will be held at Rimuka High 2.  Coca-Cola East and Central Africa programme manager Vee Chibanda said her organization was happy with how the tournament had progressed from the zonal stages right up to the provincial level and the sponsors are looking forward an exciting finish.

“We are very happy that the provincial finals, throughout the country, went very well and we now have a full list of all the national representatives for tournament,” she said.

 Girls: Jameson High (hosts), Nyamauru (defending champions) Dzivarasekwa 2 (Harare), Gotora High School (Manicaland), Nkankezi School (Mat South), Mpopoma High (Bulawayo) Mucheke High (Mash East), Chinyenyetu (Midlands), Chipindura (Mash Central), Tohwe High (Mat North), Rimuka 2 High (Mash West)
