Sebastian Magacha will today unveil his latest offering titled “Adam”.

The musician, who appeared to have taken a back seat in the past months following a social media scandal over nude pictures, has finished working on a single and accompanying video.

“I have been busy behind the scenes. Apart from composing new music
and working on videos, I am also an Adam Molai Foundation brand ambassador,
and I am involved in community development and hunger alleviation projects in Marondera and surrounding areas,” said Magacha.

“The new offering, ‘Adam’, will be out this coming Sunday (today) and will be unveiled on YouTube at 12pm. It is a thought-provoking song that I feel will appeal to every soul.”

The musician reckons his fans’ unwavering support helped him weather the storm that almost derailed his music career last year.

“My career has been in trial and tribulations. I have disappointed some of them, yet they still love me. I thank them for the support and promise to continue giving them the very best. ‘Adam’ will be testimony,” he said.

Magacha has over the years proved to be consistent through his well-polished music. He explained the inspiration behind the latest offering.

“I thought of Adam being the first person to have been created by God and being given the mandate to take care of the Garden of Eden.

“I then took it that we also have the mandate to take care of the Garden of Eden, which happens to be our Earth. As an Adam of today, you need to take care of widows, orphans and other less-privileged members of society,” explained Magacha.

“ . . . of course, this has also been influenced by my role as a brand ambassador. I am urging all people to come on board and help develop communities and fight hunger through the song.

“Donations and sponsorship of any magnitude count. Let us all fulfil our God-given mandate.”

The gospel musician rose to fame through his hit song “Ridza Bhosvo”.

His collaboration with music star Jah Prayzah on “Mweya Mutsvene” a few years back, further expanded his reach.

Magacha has recorded a number of albums over the years, among them “Tomudana”, “Baba Ndinokutendai”, “Tinaye Faithful God”, “Mapostori”, “Back to Sender” and “Wonererwai Jesu”.
