YESTERDAY, the RasTafari Empire celebrated the birthday (Earthday) of Her Imperial Majesty Empress Wayzero Menen Asfaw I.
The graceful event was organised by the National Nyahbinghi Council of Zimbabwe chaired by Mama Ethiopia, a staunch Rastafarian and mother of five.
Much more like every other soul, Empress Menen had always been in existence and her birth on April 3, 1891 (25 Meggabit 1883) is the day she came on earth. Hence a birthday is identified as an “earthday”.
An intriguing experience of a lifetime occurred at the Harare Gardens with sisters and brothers of the Faith displaying a taste of heaven right here on earth.
Conscious reggae music and the ancient Nyabinghi Drums accompanied by saints pouring their souls through chant and skank echoed and tantalised the scenario.
Leading the procession were Nyahbinghi women and Ras Tafari empresses and princesses of all ages from all over the country. As guests of honour, we enjoyed the company of Sista Chipo and Sista Makeda from the United Kingdom.
A word of caution; these ladies (rather lionesses) must be considered as generals, captains and admirals. The UK convoy is spearheading a pivotal gold mining expedition throughout all Ethiopia (Africa). Since the Empire does not wait for death to experience heaven, Jah Children enjoyed and shared a piece of Mount Zion (heaven) with all who managed to grace the occasion.
Chief of all were the numerous high nutritious meaty in taste yet vegan dishes that scintillated everyone’s nostrils to the extent of clearing long clogged passages. Indeed, citizens realized the fact that when vegetables are prepared with love and affection, they absolutely diminish and destroy the need to kill and eat animals.
The event was designed for the family. The core of all our existence must be cherished in peace and harmony. Ras Tafari women or rather Empress Menen queens preached to the world the cornerstone responsibility the modern day woman must encounter and endure as she advances into the future.
It has since been confirmed that the ‘African woman’ is slowly sinking into extinction at the expense of the ill-defined immoral western stereotype.
The modern day African and global woman does not know her true African roots, is lost, and thus follows blindly after our former enslavers’ dictates.
It was argued that a great many African women wear “mess up” and plastic hair and nails so as to look more Eurocentric or ‘Barbie doll’ as the lionesses put it. This they count as beauty. No doubt beauty is in the eyes of the beholder (beer-holder).
Although it is well known that black is beauty, however, a lot of very beautiful dark skinned ‘careless Ethiopian’ females corrode their natural tone with bleaches and what have you only so as to look whiter.
From all the agendas that were discussed and some debated, we managed to pick up the following fundamental points. The targeted audience is mainly women, mothers and girls although the adjacent sex will also benefit accordingly.
Empresses were advised to behave and adopt the following random norms and values:
To be as much African as possible.
To eat more African natural and organic foods.
Avoid fast foods, super refined foods, genetically modified (more-defiled) organisms and basically all junk foods.
Include a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables in daily livity (parallel to diet or die-eating).
Grow food organically with foliage and animal manure in place of chemical fertilser, even at large scale.
Rear animals not as captives to the slaughter but pets. We need also to invite and co-exist with a plethora of flora and fauna.
Drink safe water from natural sources by all means necessary.
Always wash hands whenever possible.
Always keep the body or Temple of the Lady clean and free from all forms of filth and pollution.
Abstain from crime, prostitution, and all negative ills of life.
For it is now the Armageddon times, pursue happiness with caution, the world is no longer the same.
Stick to one partner for life. One love!
Be fruitful and multiply.
Abortion is an abomination and not an option.
Obscure sexuality, being lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual and intersexual (LGBTI) is an abomination, not an option and of no production.
Bestiality and all forms of sexual immorality that include pedophilia, anal sex, oral sex, sex with multiple partners, the production and consumption of pornography to name a few, fire burn!
Do not stereotype the female figure as a sex object.
*Women are Creators of the future generations.
Dress more African.
Speak more languages, especially African ones.
Dreadlocks for every Roots Woman.
Know thyself. Dig deep into yourself and you will discover a world much greater than the Universe.
Have an open and genuinely compassionate heart. Always follow your heart or instincts.
Civilisation is persuasion over force.
Self-defence skills for all lionesses.
Know when to harmonise and when to terrorise.
Meditate and pray whenever and wherever possible.
Teach children the right way to live.
Ethiopia’s Imperial language is our Mother’s tongue.
One language, currency, commerce for all Africans at home and abroad.
Be proud to be who you are with disregards to race, colour and or creed. Rastafarians simply address everyone as African, “It don’t matter where you come from, you are an African,” (Peter Tosh).
A point or two were added by the author so as to compensate for omissions.
