I have the privilege of interacting lots of people at various forums, and I have discovered that the noise makers tend to be the unproductive ones.

Noise is disruptive and resource consuming.

Noise makers use loud voices without good reason or focus.

If you find that one person who is always asking long, winding questions, check the end product.

It is good to ask questions and understand issues; it sharpens the process, but it should be for a good cause.

Noise makers go beyond understanding and confuse the process.

Noise makers divert attention from the core business.

One of their ill motives is to draw attention to themselves.

There is that one person who asks what has already been asked in different words.

They may even ask for the same explanation to be repeated for the benefit of others, yet they are the ones asking the questions.

They speak for others.

They do not want to be accountable for their actions; they ask on the pretext that they are doing it for benefit of others.

There is the manipulative type, who always seek to divide the group along petty grounds.

Do not talk too much. Seek to understand more before drawing everyone into an argument.

There is no harm in accepting that sometimes you can miss the point. We are all human.

If in doubt, make time to seek clarity without disrupting the flow.

If you do not have meaningful contributions, do not ask just to confuse those who would have understood.

Noise makers are unnecessarily critical, sometimes without offering an alternative.

Problems remain unresolved because these loud voices do not give any positive direction.

Raising alarm is good, but it should be done in the context of progressing society.

If someone thinks that what is prevailing is not working, they should offer better alternative solutions.

Noise is when one takes, yet they have nothing to give.

Do not be the kind of person who guides other people, but does not want to get guided.

Do not be the person who points to a path that they are not prepared to walk down.

Noise makers usually make an issue out of nothing.

Not every argument has to be taken to a fight.

For the sake of peace, some things can be let go.

Noise makers plant the seeds of doubt in everything.

Every system is bound to have weakness.

Do not draw back progress over something than can be corrected along the way.

Noise makers turn down new ideas, because they did not come from them or their friends.

The noise is not against the idea, but against the person who suggested the idea.

If one respects the speaker more than what was said, then the vessel is empty.

Many noble projects have failed, because of noise makers who do not support what did not come from themselves or their camp.

Noise makers seek gratification in the failure of something good, just to prove a point.

Noise makers always want to lead.

If someone else leads the noise maker throws tantrums.

It should feel good at some point to take the back seat and allow the next person to hold guide you.

Noise makers look down upon other people and seek to have monopoly of ideas.

Society is a better place when focus is on what was said, without focusing on who said it.

For avoidance of doubt silence is golden and always the peace maker.

There will always be divergent viewpoints on what route to take, and society benefits from ideas that are thought through.

There is need to support society to reach set goals without unnecessary disruption.

Constructive criticism always benefits the set agenda.

Positive criticism is celebrated for results, while noise accounts for the death of brilliant ideas in their infancy.

Noise is the habit of shooting everything down, without giving it a chance.

Conceding defeat should not take anything away from you.

For good measure, everyone will win some and lose some. That is not enough reason to make noise.

The world deserves better, do not be a noise maker.
