BLCC to honour Father Michael Hood
WE round off the prophetic messages for 2016 with a unique event that is taking place in Harare this coming weekend, where the former Blood of the Lamb Christian Community (BLCC) team members will come together to thank the charismatic Roman Catholic priest, Father Michael L. Hood for the splendid job he did for the church, and in their individual lives.

Over a period of time, Fr Hood nurtured the members while they were still with the Catholic Charismatic Renewal. According to a statement from their representative, Pastor Peter Matemba of Redemption Faith Ministries, the former BLCC team is a group of about thirty pastors who left the Catholic Church and some are now pastors, heading their own ministries. They have come to realise how Fr Hood impacted on their spiritual lives.
“Years later, we realised that what and who we are is what Fr Hood made us to be. Many of us are active leaders in different denominations,” said Pst Matemba.
Among the list of invited guests to the historic event is Archbishop of Harare Robert Ndlovu. The team says it would be a blessing if he accepts their invitation for, “Fr Hood has done a splendid job that he deserves such a day dedicated to him while he is still alive.”
From glory to glory
is your name!
The build-up to the Winners Chapel International 2016 prophetic word by Bishop David Oyedepo was during the Shiloh 2015 conference in Lagos, Nigeria, which ran under the theme “Engaging the Wonders of Divine Visitation” (2 Corinthians 3:18, NKJV). The conference was held from December 8-12.
The scripture reads, “But we all, with unveiled face, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord.”
The crossover into 2016 was the climax as the theme “From glory to glory” resonated among members of the multi-national church. (see also Isaiah 62:2-3; Deuteronomy 28:8)
Bishop Oyedepo explained, “Divine visitation is what we call a revival, and every divine visitation is destined to change man’s position. Every divine visitation is designed for man’s change of story.
“God does not just visit and go. He visits to change the position of His people. Every divine visitation is designed to fulfill a divine agenda . . . The Lord sent a word to Jacob, (and) it turned him into a nation.”
He called upon his followers to make “from glory to glory” their name, and to profess that they will achieve that goal.
“Let these prophetic declarations be loud in your mouth through 2016 and you shall see yourself all of a sudden, transfigured into the dimension of glory that will marvel you and everyone around you will celebrate God with you.”
The declarations included:
1. No matter what you saw in your life in 2015, you will see greater in the year 2016!
2. You will change levels every month all through the year 2016 in the name of Jesus!
3. Every year from this time henceforth shall be a plus on the previous in Jesus’ name!
4. As you honour God by making yourself available for Him, your life will never know backwardness!
5. God has ordained his people to be on top of the affairs of the world in 2016, it doesn’t matter where you are today or how miserable your life maybe today, but if you will diligently do the work of God, you are sure of a dramatic change of level. Hold this prophetic word tight. Praise the Lord!

New Revelation Ministries International’s 2016 theme is, “The year of faith, to live by, and walk in the supernatural,” and is based on Hebrews 11:3 – “By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were made of the things which are visible.”
Their slogan: faith versus sight, for we walk by faith not by sight and, faith as trust and trust as commitment. And their motto, with God all things are possible!
According to the church’s visionary, Bishop Ancelem Takaedza Gwaze in 2016 they are going to conquer the unconquerable by faith. He also said 2016 is the year of emphasising the importance of believing the word of God. “The Bible says, for we walk by faith not by sight.”
He also said in 2016, they will be teaching the flock not to be distracted by the things they see, but believe that through faith, the impossible will happen and they will see the invisible through their spiritual eyes.
The Joseph principles
for this generation
Every New Year, the prophetic word from the overseer of the Synagogue for All Nations (Scoan) Prophet T.B Joshua attracts a lot of interest, with some welcoming the prophetic word as a message of hope and a pointer to raise faith levels in the Lord Jesus Christ and the power of the Holy Spirit. The 2016 message was no different, but as promised in earlier instalments, we examine the prophecy against those pronounced locally.
This is what T.B Joshua said about the southern African region:
“There will be little rain at the wrong time, which is not good for farming. Many farmers will be discouraged,” he proclaimed. And, this is has come to pass!
Prophet T.B Joshua advised governments in the Sadc region to build “dams and irrigation mechanisms using available water from the sea,” but cautioned: “The government should not be tempted to surrender most of their industries to foreign countries.”
Locally, Pastor Anselm Mvenge of the Christian Healing Ministries for all nations has been giving prophetic messages about the prevailing drought since 2012, and how to mitigate its effects.
He said, “On February 12, 2012 I declared that our nation was going to experience difficult days because of drought. This was confirmed in the March 19, 2012 issue of The Herald under the bold headline, “Food crisis looms.”
“On December 31, 2013;, I again declared a message on drought and added that the drought would only end with irrigation and on December 31, 2014, I repeated that drought will only end when farmers embark on irrigation schemes. On November 8, 2015; I again declared that God was going to give us rains only to survive, but the drought would only end with irrigation and on November 15, 2015; I repeated what I had said on November 8, 2015.
“Finally, at exactly 23:50 hours on December 31, 2015, I repeated that we were still to go through a time of drought and the solution was to embark on irrigation. Thank you Jesus Christ. Amen.”
Since drought is ravaging the whole region, we have not only seen people interrogating the prophetic messages, but we are witnessing the fulfilment of the prophecies as governments and the private sector are joining hands to counter the drought. They are taking radical steps to ensure that the region’s food security situation is strengthened.
The region’s governments is seized with issues of infrastructure development through the construction of dams and setting up of irrigation systems. This paradigm shift will ensure that agriculture remains the backbone of the region’s economies.
James Muyanwa writing in the Times of Zambia on January 6 affirmed the positive responses on the drought prophecy, and the need for mitigating measures.
One reader responded to his article on T.B Joshua’s prophecy saying that, “I actually watched that prophecy on TV… Thank you for bringing out that important message so that may be our leaders (government) should see sense in it and probably act in that direction.
Another one said, “I agree with you that according to the man of God, countries must start changing certain things and re-aligning certain things to key issues and the question of us taking up land utilisation in agriculture is paramount.
“I agree with him that Africa is supposed to be the bread basket of the world but alas! Africa is a powerful continent because we have things like copper, gold, crude oil, gas and other things . . .
“Zambia and Africa have enough water bodies and fertile land to grow our economies through exports of food stuffs to the world out there,” another reader responded.
One farmer from Kasomo Chaila Cattle Ranch, in Mbala District said, “I totally agree with you on encouraging the governments, particularly on agriculture. I have been following the prophet (T.B. Joshua) on agricultural issues since 2013 and it has worked for us at our farm.”
It is as though these are the times of Joseph in Egypt’s Pharaohs, when God used him mightily to save nations during the seven years of plenty and seven years of drought.
But as Bishop Oyedepo cautions, “What you hear only informs, it is what you know that transforms you while adequate understanding begets outstanding results.”
The choice is ours. Jesus Christ is the centre-piece of all our choices, including the shift in agricultural mechanisms.
