DYNAMOS assistant coach Gift “Umbro” Muzadzi has declared that the Glamour Boys will explode on Harare City in Saturday’s  Chibuku Super Cup final at the National Sports Stadium.

Despite suffering a major blow following the suspension of influential defensive linkman Steven Alimenda for picking up two yellow cards in the tournament, Muzadzi believes DeMbare still have enough firepower to blow away the Sunshine Boys.

Muzadzi also revealed that chief striker Rodreck Mutuma, who is nursing an ankle injury, is being monitored by the team’s doctors.

The last time Dynamos played Harare City was on October 11, in a goalless league match played at Rufaro and dominated entirely by DeMbare.

The Glamour Boys could have registered an emphatic victory had it not been for the exploits of inform City keeper Maxwell Nyamupanedengu who pulled off numerous top drawer saves.

“This time they will not be lucky, if you ask Harare City they will tell you they heaved a sigh of relief after that league encounter.

“Harare City have been scoring for fun but they should know they are playing against DeMbare. We are preparing well for this huge game, the only scare has been that of Mutuma but I can tell you the team doctors are closely monitoring him.

“We will make a decision on him tomorrow (Friday),” said Muzadzi.

Dynamos vice captain Ocean Mushure reckons the defending champions are still in with a chance to clinch the league and cup double.

“We want this Cup desperately, remember last season we didn’t do well in this competition so this time around we are declaring war. I also think we are still in the championship race, there are still 12 points to play for and anything can happen.

“DeMbare have never lost in a Cup final since I arrived, that is a good omen  and I am urging our supporters to come in their thousands to witness us lifting the trophy,” said the roving Dynamos left back.
