“BELOVED, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers.” — 3 John 1:2.
This scripture reveals an important truth we should recognise — that God’s will, above all things, is health and prosperity for His children.
He wants you to prosper and be in good health.
This is Christ’s desire for His church.
The psalmist in Psalms 37:25 states that, throughout the years of his life, he had never seen God forget His people or leave them poor and destitute.
“I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging for bread.”
Believe this and see it work in your life; sickness and poverty are not your portion.
“For you know the generous grace of our Lord JesusChrist.
“Though He was rich, yet for your sakes He became poor, so that by His poverty He could make you rich.” — 2 Corinthians 8:9 Jesus Christ — who owns all the silver and gold, as well as so many cattle on a thousand hills — became poor so that you can be rich.
He took your poverty upon Himself, all the way to the cross and it was nailed there.
What this means is that poverty’s power over you was destroyed on the cross.
It is now possible for you to become rich.
In Christ, God has given you the ability to create wealth.
So, work hard every day, with the understanding that it is God’s desire to see you prosper.
The grace to prosper is upon you.
Believe and see it manifest itself in your life; for we walk by faith and not by sight.
