ROBSON CHINHOI is not letting his current rich vein of form get to his head, as the Zimbabwean golfer continues his march towards next month’s Kenya Open.

Fresh off yet another win on the Safari Tour, this time at the Nyali Golf and Country Club, the 28-year-old believes that there is still room for improvement before he can challenge for honours at the Open.

Putting is his biggest concern.

“I’m getting more and more confident with every game,” said Chinhoi.

“I’m playing well and feel good and confident about my game,” he said.

“While my swing is good, my putting could use a little work. The trick is to try to rediscover my confidence when putting, because it’s letting me down.

“I’m ok when teeing to the greens, but it’s a different story when it comes to putting,” he said.

Chinhoi’s latest triumph came at the par 71 Nyali Golf and Country Club course in Kenya by a single shot, and puts him in prime position to make the cut for the Kenya Open.

“I will definitely make the cut, but don’t want to just make the numbers. I want to win it all”, he said.

The Safari tour headliner is pencilled for March 12-17.
