CHICKEN INN coach Joey Antipas described his side’s Chibuku Super Cup first round clash against Hwange at Luveve as a very physical battle that suffocated his team of space to play their favoured passing game.

A second half brace from Mitchell Katswairo, in the 52nd and 90th minute won it for the Gamecocks.

“It was a tight game,” said Antipas.

“Very physical you know, with very little room to manoeuvre. In the end we had to dig deep and get the result we needed.

“Cup games are always difficult, there are no favourites and Hwange came here ready to do the business.

“We are happy to have qualified for the quarter finals; we now wait to see who comes up next.”
