bridal 10WITH The Sunday Mail Bridal Gala and Expo drawing closer, a number of sponsors have already come on board, with organisers expecting more to come through.

These sponsors include National Foods Limited, Exquisite Fragrances, Rose Bridal, Jan Jam Menswear, Kenny Chris Wedding Stationery, Harusi Gardens, Harare Agricultural Show Society, Just Wedding Cars, Tonji’s Hiring and Sunvalley Audio Visual.

The National Foods Limited, a diversified conglomerate, which has grown to be arguably the largest Zimbabwe Stock Exchange-listed manufacturer and marketer of food in the country, has pledged to sponsor the Cake of the Year’s prize, worth several thousands of dollars.

They are also going to bake a cake that is 1,5 metres tall and one metre wide which can feed more than 1 000 people and this will be eaten by people attending the Bridal Expo.

A company that specialises in fragrances and personal care products, Exquisite Fragrances, will sponsor hampers for the winners. They are also responsible for the inclusion of Alexio Kawara on the performing artistes’ line-up.

Another corporate who is going to lend a hand is Harusi Gardens, a premier wedding services provider, which has promised to handle the decor for the Bridal Show.

The tickets bought to gain access to the Bridal Show will be used to enter a raffle draw, which will see one lucky winner walking away with a free wedding voucher.

Among the sponsors for the free wedding is the Harare Agricultural Show Society, which runs the Harare Exhibition Park and it will provide the wedding venue, with the winner spoilt for choice as to which spot to use within the park.

Renowned wedding gown designers, Rose Bridal, have vowed to stitch a stunning gown for the bride while Jan Jam, which offers the best and latest fashion trends in men’s wear, will sponsor the suit for the groom.

Invitation cards are going to be made by Kenny Chris Wedding stationery.

Just Wedding Cars, a provider of top-of-the-range luxury cars for weddings, will supply the vehicles to be used on the day.

A media consultancy, audio visual services and video production company, Sunvalley Audio Visual, will be taking care of the videos and pictures.

The tent and chairs will be provided by Tonji’s Hiring Services, a customer-focused company that hires out function equipment for special occasions.

In an interview, Zimpapers business manager Charity Gwata-Chirume said more sponsors were still trickling in, especially for sponsorship of the free wedding.

“We are grateful for the sponsors that have already come on board but we are still in need of the wedding cake, catering, cutlery, flowers and toilets.”
