Love is the only thing that can bring a man and a woman into a union called marriage.
However, of late, people have been marrying for the wrong reasons.
Money and all sorts of material things now account for many “marriages of convenience”.
Sadly, most of these unions do not have proper foundations and they rarely last.
True love enables couples to easily overcome challenges that threaten their union.
It is only through genuine love that couples can overlook challenges such as financial struggles or other trying circumstances that a marriage might face.
A woman should learn to unconditionally love her husband and to be satisfied with their possessions.
For instance, if your husband stays in a single room, do not think marrying him was a mistake. Things can change for the better anytime.
Be grateful for every little thing you have. Never try to compare your marriage with that of your friends or neighbours.
You should always try to use resources at your disposal to improve your family’s life. Some of the people whose life you envy might have ill-gotten wealth that does not give them peace of mind.
If you push your husband to extremes, he will be left with little or no choice but dabble in corruption or rituals.
Will that make you happy?
Good life is not all about material things.
It can come in the form of peace, love, happiness and good health.
Some have plenty of cars parked in their yards but they are always quarrelling.
Conversely, you may be using public transport yet you might be revelling in the love in your marriage.
Similarly, as a man, you should be satisfied with your wife.
There is no need to compare your wife with other women.
That will only make you unfaithful.
Adulterous men expose their wives to many dangers that include diseases or even envious psychopathic rivals.
It is better to make an effort to communicate and express what it is you want in a marriage so that your wife can try and satisfy your desires.
Cheating is never a solution.
One thing you need to always remember is that only your wife can truly love you for what you are.
These other ladies in your life are attracted to your wealth — nothing else. But we also have instances where some men stray just to be taken care of by women of means.
This is embarrassing to say the least.
You should not live a disgraceful life because you are not satisfied with the little you have.
Stay in your marriage, love your family, be there for them, defend them and be satisfied.
