DAYS after removal vans were seen outside their plush west London home, it has been claimed that Victoria and David Beckham are hoping to live the country life once again, albeit on a grand scale. The mega-rich couple have reportedly been eyeing properties worth six million pounds in and around the beautiful Cotswolds area, and they are hoping their search will land them an estate fit for gentry.

“Victoria has stepped up her search in recent weeks and wants to get a move on,” a source told The Sun. “She wants her own version of Downton Abbey — something very classic as opposed to their place in London which is very modern.”

And while speculation has been rife that the couple are eyeing a return to California, sources tell the newspaper they are intent on finding a United Kingdom home with stables, pools, tennis courts and a fishing lake.

“Victoria is desperate to find a new place in the country,” said a source. “She and David have struggled to make time for each other of late due to their hectic work schedules. But moving back to the country is a big step for them and a new phase in their relationship.”

MailOnline has contacted a representative for Victoria Beckham for comment.

On Tuesday, David was spotted taking his sons Romeo (13), and Cruz (11), to a West Hollywood salon for haircuts as their summer break in California continues.

The boys’ older brother Brooklyn (17), has been spending time across the country in New York City, where he has been spotted out and about with his actress girlfriend Chloe Moretz.

On Saturday, their mother Victoria Beckham (42), was spotted touching down in Los Angeles, shortly after removal vans were pictured outside their 31,5 million pound Holland Park home.

The children, including five-year-old daughter Harper, are all settled in schools in the British capital but the family share their time well between the UK and the US.

Former Manchester United ace David arrived with their two youngest children from London earlier this month.

Now that school is out, it leaves the six-piece the chance to spend their time off somewhere warmer on the weather front.

Last year, they were regularly spotted enjoying family SoulCycle sessions with The Ramsays, headed up by TV chef Gordon, wife Tana and their four children.

The Beckhams have undeniable ties with the United States, after David signed with LA Galaxy football club in 2007.

Their children therefore spent most of their early life in sunny California before finally committing to London life again in September 2014.

However, as speculation mounts about their next move, the family have so far remained publicly tight-lipped. —  Daily Mail
