EVERY Zimbabwean should have a basic understanding of first aid skills, Public Service, Labour and Social Welfare Minister Professor Paul Mavima has said.
He was speaking at a Zimbabwe Red Cross Society event on Wednesday.
“There is need for all Zimbabweans to have basic understanding of first aid given that emergencies are a daily phenomenon,” said Professor Mavima.
“Think of Cyclone Idai … Let’s have a critical mass of people well trained to do first aid. First aid kits should be readily available everywhere and the Red Cross can assist with that.”
