ZIMBABWE, a very preserved nation in its’ tradition and culture, is waking up to a shocking reality of evil orgies. Named “vuzu” parties, these gatherings are characterised by wild music, dance, alcohol and drugs.
Those in attendance even indulge in sex orgies to see who is able to sleep with as many partners as possible.
Traditionally in Zimbabwe, rain-making was associated with cultic worship which included alcohol, dance and even explicit songs. However, the ceremonies never incorporated sexual abuse.
It is sad to note that young people are mostly involved in the vuzu parties that are destroying their spiritual, physical and psychological lives. Let us examine God’s original plan for sex. In the beginning, God created one person and it was His plan for that person to be united. Finding no help, he had to separate the person in two, Adam and Eve, (Genesis 2:21-22).
God’s plan has remained – that the two be one. Therefore, God chose the act of sex to unite the two. (1 Corinthians 6:16). Sex is not just an act of adult amusement, it is a deeply spiritual act that may cause serious demonic influences when handled in ungodly ways.
And when you disturb the spiritual flow, every other aspect of human life falls apart.
Sex is like fire. In this winter, as long as it is in its rightful place, the fireplace warms the family. Take it to the blankets and it will burn the whole family. Sex’s rightful place, which is in the holy matrimony, warms marriages.
In sexual orgies, it causes the whole nation to fall apart. Beloved Zimbabweans, please remember how in Numbers 25 the children of Israel engaged is such an orgy and ended up losing 24 000 among themselves. Also remember that 1 Corinthians 10 says that all of this was done as an example for us.
STIs, demons, veneral diseases, emotional challenges will always follow. I pray, today, that as Zimbabweans we may be delivered from such bondage. Bless you maZimbabwe!
