Jacaranda Fest

Top South African house duo Black Motion has a date with their Harare fans as they headline the first night of the Jacaranda Festival tonight at Hellenic Sports Club.

The group is legendary when it comes to pulling off explosive live performances and come to the capital on the backdrop of winning the Best Live Act award at the 2019 Dance Music South Africa Awards Thursday.

The two-day event will also see other international and local superstars including DJ Zinhle, Ringo Madlingosi, Mokoomba, Ammara Brown, Tamy, Djembe Monks, Mbeu, Bryan K and The Black Spirits also taking to the stage.

Makomo Gala

Hwange Colliery Stadium bursts to life tonight as Makomo Resources celebrates its ninth anniversary with a musical gala that is headlined by Mafikizolo who will perform alongside Alick Macheso, Killer T and Peter Moyo.

 Comedy Night with Carl

Bulawayo comedy lovers have something to smile about as Carl Joshua Ncube tonight takes his act to the luxurious Nesbitt Castle. The stand-up comedian is no stranger to The City of Kings’ comedy scene and will be looking to crack a rib or two with his wit.

Cinema at the Beach

Cleveland Dam will host the inaugural Cinema at the Beach, a family event that incorporates various activities including canoeing, horse riding, zumba and live performances.

Besides the movie screening and other exciting activities taking place, numerous artistes including Ash Styles, Nivek, Eve, Ironik, Junior Brown and MC Stansplash will also be entertaining the patrons.

Eclipse Annual Beach Party

Last year, Eclipse Sports Bar and Grill introduced an annual beach party concept and tomorrow they host the second edition of the event. Abisha Palma, 2Bad, DJ Storm, Ars, Switch Base and Stunner are among some of the entertainers who will perform on the day. Organisers of the event have promised that there will be real sand and awesome waterworks so as to capture the beach atmosphere.

Back2Jazzics

The Zimbabwe Jazz Community Trust’s Back2Jazzics will be headlined by the talented Raven Duchess. Making her debut at the weekly event three years ago, Raven has become a favorite among jazz lovers having become a regular performer at the spot.

The Cook-out

The popular monthly event makes a come back to the capital this Sunday having held their inaugural Gweru edition recently. This month’s fete which is being held at Palm Estate Gardens is a bit interesting with organisers roping in dancehall outfit Judgement Yard.

To further spice up the scenery, The Pop Up Bar will be introducing a Chill Zone where patrons will not only be given a comfortable seating space, but also get to be treated to exquisite cocktails and gourmet snacks.
