THERE is this certain apostolic sect that claims to be in control of results in the local Premiership. One of their members was hard done by local giants over payment issues and the sect has vowed that this team will “never again” win a league title until they settle their differences.

The sect’s staunch followers and its leaders now claim that even if the popular team gets all the best players in the land they will not win anything tangible. To strengthen the threats, close sources say it is the very same sect that has been behind the sudden rise of this certain coach who has been prophesied to go on and coach in Europe in the near future. So much for miteuro/ juju in our football.

We thought the cat-fight for the Zim Got Talent brand ended when one of the two parties involved in the war for the show rebranded the event to Dream Star Zimbabwe. But, it appears we were wrong. The battle is still simmering underneath.

While one of the organisers, who has a Look East policy touch, is currently putting final touches to organising the semi-finals (of the show), slated for August, Sunday Buzz is informed that the other beleaguered party is working “day and night” in search of the best possible way to sabotage the other’s event.

The aggrieved party who is yet to host even a single show of the event is contemplating approaching the courts to block his rivals from using what they are now claiming to be “their concept”. Who can blame them?

They were previously involved in an ownership wrangle over the name of a monthly print magazine and they won. It appears they are good at legal battles than creating real entertainment value for the public kkkkkkkk.

It is interesting how one’s career can change overnight. Recently, Sunday Buzz was looking for a fashion designer. Yes, one of us wanted to attend a special function and she had to dress exquisite. But that’s not the issue. It’s what we discovered that was interesting.

Recommendations for top designers were made and among them was a name of a top gospel musician who used to record with Diamond Studios but has since sunk into oblivion.

The gospel musician is enjoying her other specialty, designing. Rather she might not be returning to stage any live shows anytime soon if news on the business she is attracting is anything to go by.

From the look of things she is putting her all on the designing trade. And luckily, her presence is being felt in the fashion world.

Thus, she should be grateful to her parents for forcing her to do the cutting and designing course back in the days. At least the nightmares of playing for long hours in empty venues are now a thing of the past for her. You go girl!
