Milton Kamwendo-Hunt for Greatness

There is greatness in you that is itching to be unleashed and released. You are capable of great things. You already do great things without thinking. Some of the simple actions that you do almost effortlessly are a result of complicated brain and muscle coordination.

Do not think less of yourself. You are a child of God. Born to do great things and set for greatness. When you are tempted to be negative remember the greatness within. When you are tempted to play blame games remember the giant within. When you are tempted to run away from challenges remember the greatness within.

Stop fighting, blaming and kicking other people. Nothing can stop a person who knows where they are going, is humbly working to get there and is willing to face the brutal realities of the journey. Your biggest enemy is not outside you.

What is happening in your mind, is more important than anything else happening elsewhere.

Stop fighting against yourself and sabotaging your greatness. Channel it and focus your energy and efforts. Until you change your thinking, very little will change.

Pointing

Banish the pointed finger and stop playing the blame game. Take responsibility because blame will never solve anything or take you forward. It’s not other people that are the cause of your misery, period.

Swallow a little pride, take responsibility and you will tap into the greatness within you. It is not who you blame that matters, but what you do with the greatness within you.

Whoever and whatever you blame you empower to torment you and cause misery.  Obstacles are not a blame dumping ground. It is not the size of the obstacle that matters, but the depth of your determination to win and to excel.

The bigger the obstacles the higher the possibilities of greatness. Do not give your obstacles celebrity status. Confront all challenges as a willing learner, fighting cadre and see the results.

Should you fail, do not blame anyone otherwise you throw away the learning opportunity. If you ever fail, take a blame-less retrospective. Look back in order to learn and never to blame. Learn all you can and be willing to stay long enough at a task to outlast the challenge and win. Remember the greatness within.

Wishful

Wishes, are wishy-washy desires that have not been crystallised into worthy snd inspiring goals.

You cannot merely wish you way to greatness. Move beyond wishes and set good bold and exciting goals. Goals are the seeds of all greatness.

If you do not set inspiring goals you will accidentally sleep-walk through life. Stopping wishing your life could be anything different and set bold new goals to drive your life forward.

There is more opportunity that you can use. Set the goal and start working towards that goal. Miracles are possible and they are created daily. Live intentionally and you will achieve exceptionally. Remember the greatness within you.

Your vision should always be greater than your current reality and capabilities. Goals, when well sized, will look big and intimidating.

That’s what good goals should always be. The gaps between where you are and where you want to go, is your opportunity for stretching, learning and growing. Nothing is as motivating as a clear goal that is pursued with passion and ferocious focus. Remember the greatness within.

History

History is for learning and never a long-term parking bay. The past is gone so do not paste your fate on it. Stop living your life glued to the rear-view mirror when the opportunities for visionary and intentional living are limitless.

Living in the past makes you irrelevant in the present and a misfit of the past.

When wedded to the past you easily become liability to present progress and vision.

Carry the best parts of history, but be willing to move on and face forward fast. If you do not change you run the risk of becoming extinct. Keep challenging yourself, challenging your fact-base, reviewing your posture and monitoring your personal dialogue. Remember the greatness within.

Tomorrow

Reduce our tomorrow by increasing your execution today. Stop having too much tomorrow and shovelling what is not done today to tomorrow. Given, today is never enough, nor convenient, but tomorrow is an option for those who prefer procrastination to progress. Procrastination is the thief of time and killer of dreams.

Tomorrow is a trap that clutters your mind and steal your efficacy. Tomorrow may never come, today is what you have. Use today well or lose it forever.

Stop procrastinating and putting a “pay forward” label your calendar items. Stop expressing your efforts in future tense. What you do not cover today, is lost forever.

Tomorrow will be another day, another activity stream.

Time marches on; use it or lose it. Today is the youngest that you will ever be. You do not live backwards and achieve in retrospect. The opportunity you have is called today.

The temptation you have is called tomorrow. Make the most of every moment and do not let your personal power lie dormant. Live today as if it is your last day, because some day soon, it will be. On that day, do not say I did not tell you so. Remember the greatness within you.

Negativity

Stop negativity from destroying you. Stop thinking that the world is already rigged against you. Stand your ground and remember the greatness within you. Change your focus and challenge your negative beliefs.

The difficulties of today are not enough evidence that everything is fatally evil, sick, bad, pathetic and negative.

You will go through what you are going through.

There are possibilities beyond your wildest dreams. In the midst of negativity opportunity is abundant.

We may all the in a hole, but others are looking up and seeing the stars. In your scars lie the great stars of possibilities. In your most difficult moments, lie the seeds of your greatest opportunity.

Nothing is permanent. Do not make early and evil conclusions. What things are is not what they will always be. See yourself in a new light within a galaxy of possibilities.

See and remember your greatness. For the seed of greatness was always in you and have never left you.

You may have forgotten how great you are but that does not change the fact that greatness lies in you.

Suzy Kassem in her poem, “Remember Your Greatness,” wrote:

“Before you were born,

And were still too tiny for

The human eye to see,

You won the race for life

From among 250 million competitors.

And yet,

How fast you have forgotten

Your strength,

When your very existence

Is proof of your greatness.

You were born a winner,

A warrior,

One who defied the odds

By surviving the most gruesome

Battle of them all.

And now that you are a giant,

Why do you even doubt victory

Against smaller numbers,

And wider margins?

The only walls that exist,

Are those you have placed in your mind.

And whatever obstacles you conceive,

Exist only because you have forgotten

What you have already

Achieved.”

Stop looking elsewhere and everywhere for a silver bullet or magic key. Stop the superstition narrative. Cut out the wishful thinking.

You are the silver bullet and the key to the results you seek. Remember the greatness within you. Apply yourself fully. Be engaged. Work as if everything depends on you and ray as if everything depends on God.

Committed to your greatness.
