Seh Calaz, Judgment Yard clash at Motor Action

The Sunday Mail

All roads lead to Motor Action Sports Club today where Judgment Yard, Seh Calaz and Stunner among other artistes will headline today’s “Epic Sundays”.

The popular concept which made its comeback recently after a brief hiatus, is on the path to reclaiming its throne as the top Sunday leisure hotspot if recent events are anything to go by.

Platinum Entertainment, the architects of the event, have joined hands with Bodyslam for today’s edition which is set to be explosive considering the artistes on the lineup.

Besides the performing artistes, several top DJs and MCs including Iroq, Big Dollar, Zvese Zvese, Bodyslam Family, Power Circle and Selecta Base will take turns behind the turntables.

Merrymakers do not need to worry about gate charges as they will be getting in for free. Rain fears have also been taken into consideration with the organisers pitching a large tent.

Speaking to The Sunday Mail Society, Platinum Entertainment founder Spencer Madziya said this is going to be a party not to miss.

“We have engaged several top artistes because we want to make today’s Sunday hangout a bit extra special as we are celebrating the return of this concept to Motor Action,” said Madziya.

“If you love good music and a refreshing hangout setup, Motor Action is definitely a place to be this Sunday because we are promising to deliver just that.”

He said he is happy with the way people have responded to the new-look ‘Epic Sundays’.

“This used to be the best place to be on Sunday back in 2015 before we moved to The Volt in town but we have decided to bring back the Motor Action Sundays and so far the response has been great.

“When we came back here earlier this year, only a few people were coming through but it seems like the word has spread because our numbers have grown significantly over the past few weeks.”

At one point, this Sunday event was attracting thousands of merrymakers in the capital. Only time will tell if the event will return to its former glory.
