processedfoodsBeyond making lifestyle changes becoming proactive and attentive is key, the power of food is in its raw state. Say no to processed food. You have to build up layers of defence if you going to beat any sort of cancer. Cancer is a disease that capitalises on your body’s poor responsiveness, this in turn causes cancerous cells to grow and divide at an uncontrolled and quickened pace.

Common cancers are bone marrow cancer, breast, stomach, cervical, prostate, lung, mouth, throat, intestine, cervix, bladder and HIV-related cancer Kaposi’s sarcoma. Anything that stresses your immune system can make you vulnerable. Get to the bottom of inflammatory conditions and eliminate food allergies and heart burns.

Causes of cancer:
1. Cell damage due to low oxygen levels: The prime cause of cancer is the low level of oxygen in our body cells. If you are lacking enough oxygen in your body then sugar will make up for the energy deficit. Cancerous cells cannot survive in an oxygenated environment. This type of cell damage is caused by carcinogens. Here is a list of carcinogens to avoid:
Cigarettes;
Exhaust fumes;
Deep-fried foods and smoked foods;
Crispy foods;
Processed meat;
Over exposure to house hold cleaning products and herbicides.

2. Food: What we are eating is breeding cancer, we eat dead food, it is refined and over-processed, acidic, denatured (from overheating never heat food above 50 degrees Celsius), contains hidden forms of sugar usually poor quality junk food ($1-for-2 biscuits) and depletes our bodies rather than nourishing us. Refined carbohydrates digest so fast they act like sugar, and cancer cells love sugar. Cancer thrives on sugar, sugar is sweet poison so sugar lovers beware! Any sugary snacks like doughnuts, cakes, cookies, soft drinks, and diet soft drinks must be eliminated.

3. Do not over microwaving or overheat food. Excessive heat kills the nutrients in your food. Avoid cooking at higher temperatures it compromises the safety of the cookware.

4. All frying and fried foods must be eliminated! Even the healthiest of oils once hot become carcinogenic. Avoid fried chips (aka) cancer fries.

5. Pollution and chemicals constant exposure to man-made chemicals, pesticides and other toxins leads to excessive numbers of free radicals in our body leading to cancerous cells. Processed foods are sprayed with over 500 different chemicals before it ends up in your mouth.

6. Cookware
Aluminium cookware is the most commonly used it can be very toxic; the aluminium released into foods during cooking ends up in your body. Use titanium cookware which doesn’t react with food while cooking.

7. Obesity and living a sedentary
Being overweight can increase the risk of getting several cancers. Sedentary lives should be traded for cycling, jogging and swimming.

8. Poor quality red meat
Red meat can cause colon cancer; I recommend you eat farm fresh white meat. Eating processed meat which is salted, cured, smoked seems to pose a risk.

9. Hormonal imbalances
Manage stress switch off cancer cell growth, control your hormones, the main hormone to control is insulin. Breast cancer may be caused by a sweet tooth!

10. Bottled Water
Please don’t refill your plastic bottle which had mineral water with boiling water for drinking later you are putting yourself at risk. Drink mineral water that is properly cured.

Ways you can decrease chances of getting cancer.

1. Detoxify your body (decrease cellular toxicity and increase oxygenation to cells)
There are a variety of ways to detox; massages, avocado, smoothies, green tea (tastes horrible but is good for you) and cranberry.

2. Exercise (increase blood flow)
One cause of poor oxygenation is poor circulation. If cells are oxygen starved they are more likely to become cancerous. So Exercise!

3. Eat mainly alkaline foods
An alkaline diet consists of eating raw foods learn to enjoy them especially fruits and vegetables. Raw broccoli (unpleasant taste but it fights cancer).

4. Boost your body’s ability to use oxygen as energy: a nutrient vital in the production of energy in cells is high-quality Omega-6 which increases oxygen transfer into cells. Try pure plant seed oils (parent essential oils).
Foods that fight cancer
Build a strong immune system (yes try raw onions, raw garlic) this helps to attack any damaged cells in your body.

Try these super nutrients:
Sweet potatoes contain anti cancer properties, avocados neutralize cancer causing substances. Meats: Liver, tuna Fruits: strawberries, apples, bananas, kiwi, grape fruit, grapes, oranges, lemons (lemon peels have a miraculous ability to kill cancer cells) cherries and peaches Vegetables: spinach, tomatoes, celery, broccoli, cabbage, red peppers, cauliflower, chilli peppers, kale, mushrooms (builds immunity) Nuts: Brazilian nuts (fight prostate cancer), Juices &teas: green tea, cranberry, grapefruit juice and carrot juice. Oils pumpkin seed oil and flaxseed oil. Spices & Herbs: seaweed, garlic, ginger, turmeric, rosemary, peppermint, wasabi, cinnamon, organic peppermint, moringa is a super anti cancer, anti-bacterial, anti-fungal, anti-viral and antibiotic. It can treat over 300 diseases.
