IF the story coming in from Christ Embassy is anything to go by, then Pastor Chris Oyakhilome and his wife, Anita, may be coming together soon.

According to a source in the church, the couple have reconciled for the sake of their children.

This is the testimony a member of Christ Embassy church is said to have shared with the media last week.

“Brethren, please join me to thank God for bringing back this couple together again. When I first heard that this powerful man of God and his wife were divorced, it broke my heart, and I knew that something was wrong somewhere, for a servant of God to divorce his wife . . . Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, may God continue to strengthen and use you mightily for His kingdom in the mighty name of Jesus. All glory to God.”

Pr Oyakhilome and his wife are yet to issue an official statement on this report. — Nigeriacamera.net

RIZPAH goes international

Apostolic group Vabati VaJehova entertained attendees of the RIZPAH Women’s conference held on Africa Day

Apostolic group Vabati VaJehova entertained attendees of the RIZPAH Women’s conference held on Africa Day

THE annual RIZPAH Women’s Conference is aiming to spread its influence in Africa to raise women of substance, its founder has said.

Apostle Florence Kanyati, who is also co-founder of Grace Unlimited Ministries International, said the conference — held on Africa Day for the past decade — is impacting nations like Kenya, South Africa and Uganda.

“I am so grateful that this gives us an opportunity to strategically and spiritually map the thermometer of the continent of Africa.

“Africa has been said to be a dark continent but we are saying Africa is a kingdom continent, a Godly continent, a power continent and a blessed continent,” said Apostle Kanyati.

The RIZPAH women’s conference is aimed at empowering women spiritually, in business and in families among other facets of life.

“We look for a woman who has grown so much in God. A woman who has a balance in her life be it spiritual, physical, and emotional. I am raising women who are generational changers, game players and season changers,” Apostle Kanyati said.

Mufakose hosts concert

UPCOMING gospel artists will converge in Harare’s Mufakose suburb for the community’s musical group, Worship Ambassadors pre-DVD launch concert next Saturday.

More than a dozen gospel singers are expected to perform at AFM’s Yobel Assembly in support of the group.

Energetic performer Kuda Mutsvene leads an exciting list of talented and young singers that include Abraham Matuka, Denzel Angel, Jacob Manwa and Takudzwa Mutukwa among others.

Event organiser, Silence Shasha, who is also set to perform with his Praise City Band, believes their initiative will go a long way in positively changing Mufakose’s image.

“We come from a community that has been viewed as notorious and has a bad image, but we believe God can change lives and through this project we can prove that not all is bad in Mufakose.”

He said they have gone for relatively unknown artists with “the idea of promoting other talents in mind”.

Shasha said they are expecting to do the official live DVD recording at the end of August.

Mufakose Worship Ambassadors was formed in January and has 60 members.

Charambas at AFM dedication

THE first couple of gospel music, Baba naMai Charamba, is expected to lead celebrations at the dedication of an Apostolic Faith Mission in Zimbabwe 3 000-seat church today (Sunday).

Local pastor at Dunamis assembly in Glen Norah, Givemore Muzarurwi, said the AFM president Aspher Madziyire, church elders and MPs would be present.

“This is going to be a grand occasion for us as a lot of guests are expected.

‘‘We spent 15 years worshipping in the open space and this led to some of our members leaving for other assemblies.

The impact of this structure funded by congregates is that it will give value to the community,” Pr Muzarurwi said.

The building has a chapel, hall, five offices and a kitchen.

Also expected to entertain worshippers are Baba Mechanic Manyeruke, Mathias Mhere CCAP, and others.
