PRESIDENT Emmerson Mnangagwa has approved the appointment of a new board for the Industrial Development Corporation of Zimbabwe chaired by veteran industrialist Charles Msipa.

Announcing the appointment to ZBC on Friday, Industry and Commerce Minister Dr Sekai Nzenza said the new board will bring fresh impetus to revive industry.

The other board members are Marjorie Mutemererwa, Winston Makamure, Edward Tome, Joyce Malaba, Spiwe Nyamatore and Elizabeth Rabvukwa.

“What is exciting about this new board is that they have a strategic vision,” said Dr Nzenza.

“Working together with them our aim is to fulfil the President’s vision.

“We shall be focusing at growth, creativity, employment, import substitution and will also be creating an enabling environment to attract investors.”
