IT has been asked whether positive thinking is an inborn, genetic, naturally sunny attitude to life? Or is it something that we can all learn to develop? The answer to both is paradoxically yes.
All human beings possess one of the most powerful organs of the human body, which is the brain. It is not only an ideology, but a scientifically proven fact. Positive thinking is subjected by a positive approach to things, it is commonly said “actions speak louder than words”. Hence the powerful organ, the brain determines the actions of the rest of the human body.
Numerous thoughts cloud us in an instant, sending spirals of confusion into the mind. Today I have discovered an antidote which you and I can implement in our minds. It is known as the three “R” method, thinking upon a thought on a given phenomenon, if negative, Recognise it, if bad Reject it and Replace it with a positive thought.
In the modern world, most young children appear to be natural positive thinkers, profoundly optimistic, they believe in themselves and their ability is unquenchable even at the hands of discouragement.
However by the time they reach adolescents most children have succumbed to a degree of negativity and sufficient pessimism to protect ourselves against failure and disappointment. The mind is a lethal weapon, a deadly predator. It can be one’s own worst enemy.
However, you and I can develop affirmation of positive thoughts. Ignore comparisons with others and prefer to evaluate yourself on your own terms. If people pay attention to negative occurrence, allow them to fade from their memories quickly and naturally.
With the imprint of optimism on our minds and effective time management, the brain diffuses negativity and becomes open and broadened. The devil is always prying at our doors with a smile, ready to devour those who are weak minded, who doubt themselves. Make a difference, shame the devil, and adopt POSITIVE THINKING.
Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, is where he is today because of positive thinking and an ambition he was optimistic about. Yes admiration is not necessarily a bad thing, but instead be inspired to aspire for your own aspirations. Positive thinking can and will mark a difference in our lives. Make it your motto; “positive thinking is the pregnancy of positive ideas”, be the child that is born out of it.
