NEW: Zimbabwe off to Ireland for maiden Test Zimbabwe men's national team arrive at London Gatwick Airport on Tuesday en route to Derbyshire. The Chevrons will clash with Ireland in one-off Test match scheduled for July 25-29 at Stormont in Belfast.

ZIMBABWE cricket team are expected in Ireland today ahead of the historic once-off Test that is expected to take place next week.

The Chevrons lefty with a squad of 15 players for their first ever Test match against Ireland scheduled for July 25-29 at Stormont in Belfast.

Craig Ervine will be the captain and he together with Sean Williams, Tendai Chatara, Blessing Muzarabani and Richard Ngarava will provide the team with the much-needed experience.

Zimbabwe’s squad for the tour includes four uncapped players in Clive Madande, Brian Bennett, Joylord Gumbie and Johnathan Campbell.

This will be Zimbabwe’s first Test action since their two-match series at home to the West Indies in February last year.
