Gospel music enthusiasts in Harare are in for a spiritual treat tomorrow as the highly anticipated Spirit of Praise (SOP) Volume 10 Concert takes centre stage at the Harare International Conference Centre.

This soul-stirring event will showcase a stellar line-up of local and regional gospel artistes, delivering a powerful blend of worship and praise.

Renowned South African gospel maestro Benjamin Dube will headline the concert, accompanied by his talented ensemble, which includes Dumi Mkokstad, Omega, Mmatema, Mpumi Mtsweni, Takie Ndou, Sindi Ntombela, Canaan Nyathi, and Everton Mlalazi.

Their collective voices promise to create an unforgettable experience for attendees.

Adding to the musical extravaganza are special guest performances from the United Kindom-based Zimbabwean songstress Eleana Makombe, The Unveiled, Harvest Music and Vocal X.

These talented artists will undoubtedly contribute to the concert’s spiritual and musical richness.

Following the Harare performance, the SOP Volume 10 concert will make its way to Bulawayo, where it will grace the stage at the Harvest House International Conference Centre on Sunday.

This second leg of the tour will offer gospel lovers in Bulawayo the opportunity to immerse themselves in the same divine experience.

Some of the artistes set to perform at the SOP Volume 10 concerts in Bulawayo and Harare begun arriving in the country earlier this week.

Makombe expressed her excitement about returning home for the event and another performance scheduled for October 26.

“I am happy to be back home for the concert. We have just started rehearsals and it is shaping up to be a fantastic show,” she said.

SOP project manager Rumbidzai Matinanga shared similar optimism, saying, “Preparations are in full swing with the stage setup underway. We are welcoming guests from Malawi, South Africa, the United Kingdom and Zambia and the rehearsals are progressing smoothly. It is going to be a spectacular event.”
