Music producer and songwriter Macdonald “Macdee” Chidavaenzi has a lot to celebrate as his single, “Energy”, continues to break records.
The track, which was released four months ago, has inspired over 23 000 challenges from different creatives on social media.
Energy also had 5 000 new views on YouTube this week.
The song became popular after TikTok influencer GFlower44 posted a video singing and dancing along to the song.
Macdee said the track teaches couples to treat each other well.
“The track will get you grooving, despite it being a warning to stay away from people who do not value your presence,” he said.
