PLATINUM Queens head coach, Simbarashe Mlambo, and his assistant, Stembile Banda, have been entrusted with the African Union Sports Council Region Five Youth Games netball team.
The team is currently regrouping as preparations intensify for the games slated for December 2 to 12, in Maseru, Lesotho.
Banda will also act as the team manager.
The two have been entrusted with national duty, after three impressive Rainbow Netball Amateur League seasons with the Platinum Queens side.
This was before Platinum Queens jumped ship to join the Premier Netball League in which they are yet to taste defeat.
The team comfortably sits on top of the log standings with 52 points from 16 games.
