Legendary former Warriors captain Peter Ndlovu has rallied behind female boxer Kudakwashe “Take Money” Chiwandire, who will be challenging for the World Boxing Council Super Bantamweight belt this week.
Chiwandire takes on current champion Yamileth Mercado of Mexico in Chihuahua on Saturday.
Speaking at Chiwandire’s send-off ceremony held by Zororo, a subsidiary of Doves, in Pretoria on Tuesday, Ndlovu said “Take Money” had all the qualities to win the match.
“The girl-child has to be supported; I know Kuda has a great attitude and I know the belt is coming home. All the best!” he said.
