OVER 5,6 million Zimbabweans are now registered voters following the conclusion of a two-month voter registration blitz last month.
According to statistics compiled by the Zimbabwe Electoral Commission (ZEC), 5 685 258 voters had successfully registered to vote as at April 30.
Of that total, 3,1 million are females and 2,6 million are males.
Harare Metropolitan Province has the highest number of voters at 913 876 , followed by Midlands Province, which has 756 182 voters.
Bulawayo and Matabeleland South provinces have the least number of voters at 258 788 and 261 692, respectively.
