THE Zimbabwe national senior netball side, the Gems, have arrived in the United Kingdom ahead of the Celtic International Cup Series that begin with a contest in Scotland and Wales this weekend.
The team touched down at Heathrow International Airport Thursday morning
The tour is divided into two segments starting with a tri-nations world-ranking contest running in Glasgow and Cardiff from November 1 to 6.
Zimbabwe, Scotland and Wales will battle it out in this meet, while the second instalment of the competition will see the Gems, Welsh Feathers, Scottish Thistles and Northern Ireland Warriors battling for the Celtic Cup in Glasgow from November 7-10.
They will then play England in an international friendly in Manchester on November 12 before returning home the day after.
