NEW: Chief Hwenje partners Radio Zimbabwe on new album launch Chief Hwenje

Local music sensation, Admire Sanyanga Sibanda, affectionately known as Chief Hwenje, will join forces with Radio Zimbabwe on his 10th album launch slated for May 31.

The album is titled “I don’t Care”, with eight tracks namely the title “I don’t Care”, “Marimuka”, “Uchabaiwa ft Obert Chari”, “Small House”, “Gweja”, “Makanonoka ft Dr Tawanda”, “Nhamo” and “Sakis”.

Chief Hwenje will have his executive launch at a Harare hotel on May 30, where he is expected to sell his new product to his fans.

On May 31, he will be live on radio from 8:20am to 9am to unveil the new album.

Speaking to The Sunday Mail Online, Chief Hwenje said everything was in place for the unveiling of the new album.

“All the paperwork has been sorted, so without fail the album is going to be unveiled on May 31. I’m going to be live and dish out my new project to my beloved fans,” he said.

The “Mai Welly” hit-maker said he chose Radio Zimbabwe ahead of many other radio stations because it reaches his targeted audience.

“The majority of our fans love Radio Zimbabwe, so it is ideal to go there. It is to my advantage when it comes to awards, I know they will vote for me for the best songs of this year,” said Chief Hwenje.
