THE Zimbabwe Republic Police (ZRP) has arrested 4 397 drug peddlers under its ongoing operation against drug abuse.
In a statement on Thursday, the police said 19 new arrests were made on Wednesday, taking the cumulative figure to 4 397.
“Police have arrested 19 people during operation ‘No to dangerous drugs and illicit substances’ bringing cumulative arrests to 4 397,” reads the statement.
