In our June 4, 2017 edition of The Sunday Mail, we reported that Mr Robert Mangwiro was being investigated over a vehicle importation matter involving Zimra.
After further consultations with Mr Mangwiro and other parties privy to the matter, it has been brought to our attention that Mr Mangwiro did not acquire a Toyota Land Cruiser VX V8 under an approved Zimra vehicle car purchase scheme.
Mr Mangwiro has since made it clear that he has never imported any vehicle in his life, and has never been involved in any business relating to buying or selling of vehicles.
We sincerely apologise to Mr Mangwiro and anyone else who may have been negatively affected by the publication of the earlier averments. — Editor
