The United Family International Church founder Prophet Emmanuel Makandiwa says he shakes the brains of billionaires and do things that money can’t do because he has set standards
such that there is no competition in his spiritual space. He said people pursue money instead of pursuing opportunities adding that some people are always broke because they always have a suspect in their lives.

Prophet Makandiwa was speaking during one of the sessions of a week-long, “Empowerment Summit” aimed at driving people to use the resources within them to create sustainable livelihoods.
He said due to the spiritual level he had attained he could interact with billionaires and shake their brains.
Running under the theme, “I Know Where Your Money Is,” the summit ends today.
Emphasising the importance of setting spiritual goals as a priority, Prophet Makandiwa said this had put him in a place of no competition.
“Personally I consider spiritual goals are the most important. Set levels and standards you want to achieve in the spirit.
“That’s what I have done myself. I have set standards and I see them. Genuine anointing is a commodity.
“When I begin to operate in my set standards I have achieved I am at peace. There is no push, there is no competition. I know the fibre of what the Lord has given me. I will endure,” said Prophet Makandiwa.
“It’s dangerous to set spiritual goals when you have many people around you loitering. Do you know you can meet a person in a place you didn’t expect to meet anyone? I have targeted a place in the spirit where there are no people.
“Physically I enjoy being around a lot of people but spiritually I want to be alone.
“I don’t like to live a life where I am suspecting that God has anointed me. I have to be sure.
“Because I have attained a certain spiritual level I can interact with billionaires and shake their brains. I will do things that their money can’t do,” Prophet Makandiwa said.
According to his spokesperson Pastor Prime Kufa, Prophet Makandiwa hosted the summit to enlighten people on the alternatives that God has for them.
This he said was after appreciating that the country is not at its economic best. And as a result the people of Zimbabwe are finding sustenance difficult.
Prophet Makandiwa said money remained evasive because people pursued it instead of searching for opportunities.
“In as much as you set goals and achieve, the Bible ask, ‘what shall it profit a man if he gains everything else and lose his soul,’ meaning spirituality is the most important thing (Matthew 16v26).
“What makes you a fool is you have invested in everything except your soul. Yet most of these people who have all these things are your role models.
“Do you want to make a significant contribution in the spirit? The reason why some of you are broke is you have a suspect. You suspect someone to have bewitched you. If that’s true where are you in the spirit.
“How can a properly structured company with qualified people have a witch make decision that affects the company? It means she is coming as a spiritual person.
“She is a board member in the spirit. It means you were busy setting physical goals when they were setting spiritual goals,” added the Muzarabani born Prophet.
Prophet Makandiwa hosted the summit with the belief that God is about to raise a generation of God-fearing entrepreneurs resulting in new ideas influencing the Zimbabwean market.
Scrutinising the way churches handle money, Prophet Makandiwa said churches have made a mistake of desiring to participate when money had been realised instead of partaking in the process of getting it.
“Money is sweet but is never found in pleasant places.
“From a distance you see a corpse not honey. Can you withstand the shame, the embarrassment before the honey.
“Inside certain jobs you don’t admire is where honey is located. Look at looking for opportunities.
“Circumstances are supposed to be created by us. Rich people create the environment they desire. An aircraft has controlled temperatures inside. You have the same ability God has given you,” added the prophet as he quoted the story of Samson in Judges 14.
Headed by Prophet Makandiwa and his wife Prophetess Ruth, The United Family Interdenominational Ministries was launched in August 2008 as a lunch hour fellowship at the Anglican Cathedral.
