THE key to starting is starting, and the starting point of all greatness is where you are.

You are not an accident of nature, and where you are is not a calamity.

Stop singing lamentations and wishing for better circumstances and different times.

This is the best time to do great things.

This very moment is a seed of your greatness and a moment that is too precious to waste.

If you are in a pit, do not despair and think that you are a marooned victim.

You are not.

Whatever prison you may find yourself in does not mean that your mind is imprisoned.

Look up and see the stars and possibilities ahead.

Whatever you start today will grow beyond the barriers of this hour.

Nothing that is not in your mind can brick wall your potential.

If you are in a swamp, keep trudging on and you will get there.

Moving slowly is not the same as being stationary.

Do not let naysayers write your life’s script.

Do not let those who have given up on their dreams tempt you to give up on yours.

If you are lost, keep searching, there is a way out and a door that is looking for you.

Knock and the door will be opened.

When one door opens, many more will start appearing.

Whatever your circumstance, do not give up.

This is the worst moment to give up. Whatever storms you face, do not despair. Keep hope alive.

Every challenge that you face has an expiry date.

Just decide that whatever happens, you will not die in your winter or wither in your storms.

There is something so strong in you that cannot be drowned or disturbed by the noise outside you.

What I have written so far may sound like I am addressing someone else and not you.

If you have read this article so far, I am very sure you are the one I am addressing.

Your past does not equate to your future. Where you are not is where you will always be.

What you have achieved to date, regardless of how impressive it may be, is a tiny portion of your true potential.

You are able to do more and be more.

Determine to be all that you were born to be, and some.

Dream no small dreams for in you lies awesome potential.

Unlimited

Do not take your limitations too seriously. It is not what you do not have that is limiting you, but your thoughts about it.

It is not what you cannot do that is important, but how and what what you think.

Do not allow fear to terrorise and torment you.

Fear only exists when it can find a host mind to breed in.

Be inspired by your faith, not terrorised by your fears. Everywhere you face, there are great opportunities for faith to feed on.

Richer

You are richer and know more than you think. Do not limit your world or put bounds on what you can do or become.

You can do more than you imagine.

You carry magic in your head and amazing wonders in your hands.

You are powerful beyond measure and have potential that if you saw right would scare you towards great strides.

Do not let your fears put a lid on your potential.

You are a threat to small ideals. Move away from the shadows and face the sun.

Your road has not come to an end and your life has worth, purpose and value. You want more from life, and indeed you deserve more.

Stop playing the blame game and thinking in self-limiting ways.

You have advantage and resources that are available to you that you may have never dreamt of.

You are a child of abundance. You may have been schooled in shortage and mis-educated to understand the anatomy of your limitations and not the expanse of your potential.

You just need to think differently, to move in a different path.

If you see no path ahead, blaze a new trail and create the path.

Begin, that is where the magic power is.

Rise to new horizons and be determined to walk a different path and unleash new possibilities.

You do not have to see the whole staircase for you to make the move, all you need is to see and take the first step.

There is power in taking the first bold step and making a move.

William Hutchison Murray, ever a mountain climber and seeker of challenges who led the The Scottish Himalayan Expedition of 1951, said it well when he said: “Concerning all acts of initiative (and creation), there is one elementary truth, the ignorance of which kills countless ideas and splendid plans: that the moment one definitely commits oneself, then Providence moves too.

All sorts of things occur to help one that would never otherwise have occurred. A whole stream of events issues from the decision, raising in one’s favour all manner of unforeseen incidents and meetings and material assistance, which no man could have dreamed would have come his way. Whatever you can do, or dream you can do, begin it. Boldness has genius, power, and magic in it. Begin it now.”

Think Abundance

Think abundance and you will see possibilities that you have been ignoring.

The starting point of all abundance is gratitude.

Look around you and count all the things that you are grateful for.

Make it a practice to say thank you, thank you, thank you.

Say thank at least one hundred times in a day.

There is so much to be grateful for. Those who think abundantly know that there is so much to be grateful for.

As you practice gratitude you will start to see possibilities and opportunities. Gratitude opens your mind.

You start thinking differently and seeing the wealth of resources around you.

Tough Times

What if you are in a tough spot right now?

The tougher the challenges you face, the louder your voice of gratitude should be.

Elisabeth Kubler-Ross spent years studying pain and near-death experiences. She wrote: “To grow is the sole purpose of existence on this planet Earth.

You will not grow if you sit in a beautiful flower garden and somebody brings you gorgeous food on a silver platter. But you will grow if you are sick, if you are in pain, if you experience losses and still don’t put your head in the sand, but take the pain and learn to accept it, not as a curse or a punishment, but as a gift to you with a very, very specific purpose.”

Your current circumstances are a special gift.

Your tough times are special seasons for growth, depth and meaning. Thank God for what you are going through because life is not yet through.

From your tough times pick little stones of gratitude.

This moment is special and great.

There will be no other moment that is like the current one.

Stop mourning and start working.

Bless greatness

Bless those who are great and bless the success that you see around you. Greatness is always attracted by the greatness you see and salute.

Talk well of those who succeed and do well.

Always be looking for something to praise and learn from.

Your life always moves in the direction of the things that you take notice and recognise.

Bless greatness and you will be great.
