“Keep your dreams alive. Understand that to achieve anything requires faith and belief in yourself, vision, hard work, determination and dedication. Remember all things are possible for those who believe” — Gail Devers.

Through hard work, determination, dedication and faith I scored 25 points at Mufakose 1 High in the November 2015 Zimsec “A” Level examinations. I got 5 straight A’s in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Accounting and Further Mathematics.
I was initially enrolled for Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry in Lower Six. Realising my strong foundation in Mathematics and Accounting at “O” level, I took the challenge by adding Accounting and Further Mathematics at ‘A” Level.
I took additional subjects because I found it interesting to keep myself occupied with school work and also allowing myself to be at an advantage over other competitive students when applying for scholarships.
I got encouragement to do 5 Subjects at ‘A’ Level from the outstanding performance made by my fellow brothers before me, namely Obert Kondo and Munyaradzi Mahachi who wrote their examinations in November 2014 and obtained 24 and 25 points respectively.
Doing ‘A’ Level requires one to be focused and have good time management together with discipline.
I take discipline as being flexible and humble enough to consult other students and learn from them. Taking 5 subjects at ‘A’Level required me to work extra hard.
I am inspired by the desire to achieve and overcome obstacles. I liked studying during the evening so that during the day I have time to discuss with friends and to consult my brilliant teachers.
I thank God for making it this far. I did my primary education at Budiriro 5 Primary School, I got six units. I took my ‘O’ Level examinations at Mufakose 2 High School and obtained 8A’s and 2Bs, l’m grateful to all these schools.
I give thanks to the hardworking and dedicated brilliant teachers of Mufakose 1 High who make students capable of such greatness. Thanks to our inspiring headmaster Mr Muridzo and the staff for offering such a conducive environment for students to achieve their goals.
I am grateful to Mukombero Trust for paying my school fees and study books. Thanks to you my father Mr. Jacob Dzinzi, you are my inspiration, nothing is more delightful than just to make you proud.
I would like to thank my friends Elvis Maregedze and Brandon Bwanakocha for being my study partners. They both scored 19 points. I would like to pursue a Medical career with Actuarial Science as a second option. I am however, seeking financial assistance for my studies and any form of assistance to help me realise my dream will be greatly appreciated.
