THE Joyful Praise Choir, a gospel outfit popularly known for its energetic stage performances and chart-topping songs, will perform at the Athena Theatre in Leicester, England on September 27.
The Leicester show was initially scheduled for July 13, but was postponed due to visa delays.
As a result of the postponement, the choir, which is originally from Gweru, but now based in Harare, is itching to go on stage in England.
Shadreck Zinyemba of MJ Events Management, the promoters of the eagerly-awaited show, said those who are going to attend “are going to have a pure and genuine experience with the Lord.”
“As a practising Christian and gospel music promoter, I felt compelled by the Lord to create platforms for genuine worship and praise in the United Kingdom and beyond,” he said.
“For me, promoting gospel music is a mandate and calling that I received years ago and have been working on. This show is the perfect platform and opportunity for me to fulfil God’s promises.”
Joyful Praise is best known for their hit songs “Ngoro Yeminana” which was released in 2018 and latest release Unogochemeiko.
