China-Saudi Arabia mega chemical project kicks off

The construction of a major petrochemical and fine chemical refinery, a joint investment initiative between China and Saudi Arabia, commenced on Wednesday in the city of Panjin, Liaoning province, China.

The total investment of the project is 83,7 billion yuan (about US$12,2 billion).
