RISING hip-hop artiste, Crooger (real name Nyasha Gurure), has released a video for the song “Munhu Wemunhu”.

The pulsating video, which was directed by Nicom Muza of Rokem4eva, was shot in Johannesburg, South Africa, where the artiste is currently based.

It is one of the many videos that he intends to release this year.

“Munhu Wemunhu” is off his 19-track album “Koncrete Jango”, which was released early this year.

The song talks about someone who falls in love with a person who is already in another relationship.

The video aptly captures the complications that arise from such an awkward scenario.

“On set, we had a pool party and people were just enjoying themselves whilst we were shooting, which made it fun,” said Crooger.

“We shot the video in South Africa and it features prominent people.”

On the album “Koncrete Jango”, Crooger features collaborations with exciting talents in the mould of Ti Gonzi, Kikky Badass, Asaph, Poptain and Anita Jaxson.

“I enjoyed working with all the artistes and it was a great experience,” he said.

Producers King Chief, Leekay, GT Beats, Rayo Beats, among others, worked on the project.

Crooger burst onto the music scene in 2018 with his debut album “Road to Fame”.

It delivered notable sing-alongs such as “Mabroke Dudes” featuring MMT, “Zvirikufaya” featuring Nyasha Timbe, “Tambatione” and “I Want Her”.

His singles “Muteuro”, “Ndomupei” and “Harare Hucci” also received considerable airplay in the same year.

The artiste has in the past walked away with the Best Album Art gong at the Zim Hip-Hop awards.

Grooger has also received two nominations in the Best Album and Best New Comer categories.

The musician was raised in Chitungwiza and relocated to South Africa where he studied business accounting.
