THE late Dynamos assistant coach Biggie Zuze tested negative of the deadly coronavirus a few hours before his death but health authorities are conducting another Covid-19 test before releasing his body for burial.

Zuze who complained of breathing problems, passed away at Highglen Clinic on Tuesday afternoon after a short illness.

He was 55.

Mourners are gathered at Zuze’s residence in Harare’s suburb of Stoneridge pending finalization of burial arrangements.

“Burial is likely to be in Bindura on Sunday,” Dynamos spokesperson, Tinashe Farawo, told The Sunday Mail Sport Friday afternoon.

“We are waiting for post mortem results. It was a sudden death so naturally in this day and age of the coronavirus, tests are necessary. But he tested negative when he was admitted.

“Burial arrangements will be clear after the post mortem,” said Farawo.
