FRESH off sealing their place at the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup, the Chevrons now turn their attention on encounters against Bangladesh and India at home, including a hugely anticipated tour of Australia.

Zimbabwe wrapped up a hugely successful ICC Men’s T20 World Cup Qualifier B tournament when they beat Netherlands by 37 runs in Sunday’s final.

However, the Zimbabwe senior men’s cricket team is set to have a busy couple of weeks as they entertain Bangladesh and India before flying off to Australia for a long-overdue tour.

First up is the visit by Bangladesh, who will engage Zimbabwe in a three T20 and ODI (One-Day International) series.

The T20s are slated for July 30 to August 2 at Harare Sports Club, while the ODIs will be held from August 5 to August 10 at the same venue.

There will be a short turnaround before the Chevrons welcome India, with the teams playing three ODIs from August 10 to August 22.

The series against India is part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League – a 13-team competition – that will serve as the main route for direct qualification for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 to be staged in India.

The last assignment before October’s ICC Men’s T20 World Cup will see Zimbabwe fly out to Australia for a three-match ODI series slated for August 28 to September 3 in Townsville.

Like the India series, the tour to Australia is also part of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League.
