This was supposed to be tough talk but then there is no war veteran who holds title deeds to the liberation war. And this was supposed to be tough talk but where does the issue about money that was stolen at ZBC come in?
For now letai??i??s not get distracted by these petty issues. Letai??i??s see how Mutsvangwa responded to Tyson.

Mutsvangwaai??i??s reference to the institution of marriage was meant to emphasise the point that whenever he is cornered, Tyson drags in the First Family.
Why is the First Family being dragged into this? Why canai??i??t Mutsvangwa just make his point without dragging the First Family? Why is one who is claiming to be educated sounding so uneducated?
Tyson hit back and in the process dragged in the President in ways that did not amuse the Bishop.

Now, let the sermon begin. I will start with Mutsvangwa. There is no doubt that Mutsvangwa fought for this country during the liberation struggle and Bishop Lazarus knows what a sacrifice this was. However, this Bishop also knows that Mutsvangwa joined the liberation struggle well into the 1970s when some veterans of the struggle had started the war around 1972 following the false start in 1966.
If these veterans of the struggle were to brag about the struggle the way Mutsvangwa does, then this country would be a circus. These veterans of the struggle, the group of 45 and I know Mutsvangwa knows what I am talking about here, if they were to start bragging about the roles they played during the liberation struggle then poor Chris would put his tail between the legs.
These veterans are there and still very disciplined unlike Mutsvangwa who on each and every turn wants to tell everyone who cares to listen that he fought during the war.
Instead of bragging that he is a war veteran, Mutsvangwa, if he sees that there is ai???crying poverty of institutional memoryai??? in the commissariat department, a true freedom fighter would not use the opposition media to communicate with his fellow comrade.
If Tyson needs help, of which Bishop Lazarus thinks that indeed he needs assistance, then Mutsvangwa should act like a true big brother who is educated and stop attacking Tyson in the press. Zanu PF has the channels, Mutsvangwa should just use those to hammer sense into Tyson.
This grandstanding business in the media, the hostile media for that matter, exposes Mutsvangwa and so far the grandstanding has not helped the war veterans leader. Mutsvangwaai??i??s combative nature keeps exposing his weaknesses.Indeed war veterans got very deep political orientation during the liberation struggle and we canai??i??t expect Tyson to have the same grasp of political issues, but there is no need to haunt him. He is young, has the energy and am sure he is willing to learn thatai??i??s why he is a student at a local university.
Instead of wasting time attacking Tyson, Mutsvangwa should find tangible ways of improving the welfare of fellow freedom fighters. He should not worry shouting everyday that he is a war veteran because true freedom fighters have records that speak for themselves.
Coming to Tyson, well, a national political commissar does not lose his cool just like that. Zitete rikaita hasha kana chiramwa, mwana haaroorwi. Tyson needs to stay cool and calm because just his age is enough to attract negative vibes from those who think age counts in everything we do.
Instead of having sleepless nights and wanting to take the fight with Mutsvangwa into the air or on the ground, Tyson should act like a true national political commissar and come up with a programme to give political orientation to the majority in Zanu PF.
The way some youths and opportunists in the party are behaving is clear testimony that the party is in desperate need of serious political orientation. What does Zanu PF stands for? What and how was the party formed? How did Zimbabwe attain its independence in 1980? What does the Zanu-PF constitution say? Who were the leaders of the party since its formation in 1963?
Tyson should concentrate on these and other issues. He should move away from being known as the ai???singing political commissarai??? or the ai???sloganeering political commissar.ai??? And he should also move away from being the ai???ever party restructuring commissar.ai???
All the indiscipline, all the corruption, all the factionalism and all the succession talk is because some people in Zanu-PF lack political orientation. Havazivi rinonzi gwara remusangano.
Tyson should take these people back to basics and stop worrying about Mutsvangwa. In fact Tyson can get in touch and Bishop Lazarus will direct him to real war veterans who will give him better advice than someone who teaches his child by saying all manner of nasty things against the child.
Why canai??i??t Tyson and Mutsvangwa take a cue from President Mugabe? Always calm and composed even if he knows that the person seated next to him has been saying bad things against him. If Mutsvangwa is indeed educated and if he is a true freedom fighter he will know that war veterans are the ones that should provide depth to the commissariat department.
