He says they have come to the end of the 44th SADC Summit successful deliberations. He thanks the SADC Presidents for their participation.
President Mnangagwa congratulates President Rajoelina of Madagascar for being elected as the incoming Chairman of SADC.
He pays tribute to the SADC forces who participated in the concluded successful Mozambique peacekeeping mission and those participating in the DRC mission.
The SADC Chair thanks the Council of Ministers and Senior Officials who participated in the preparation of the SADC agenda. He also thanked those who took part in the preparation of the SADC Summit.
President Mnangagwa highlights that tomorrow there will be a tour of the Geo Pomona by Heads of State and the Museum of African Liberation.

The SADC Executive Secretary Mr Elias Magosi is now reading the Summit Communique.
He highlights all the participants who took part in the 44th SADC Summit.
Mr Magosi says that the Summit elected Tanzanian President Samia Suluhu Hassan as the Chair of the Organ on Defence and Politics while Malawian President Dr Lazarus Chakwera as the incoming Chair.
He says SADC has resolved to continue upholding peace in the region noting the successful completion of the peacekeeping mission in Mozambique.
SADC Summit has upheld the call for the unconditional removal of the illegal sanctions on Zimbabwe.
Mr Magosi says Summit has commended Zimbabwe for successfully holding the 7th SADC Industrialisation Week.
