Zim to revive glory soon: Apostle Vutabwashe

The Sunday Mail

PRESIDENT and founder of Heartfelt International Ministries (HIM), Apostle Tavonga Vutabwashe, has said Zimbabwe will revive its glory soon.

Apostle Vutabwashe was speaking during the Catch The Fire conference at the International Overflow Center (IOC) in Ashdown Park last week.

“. . . We prayed for Zimbabwe yesterday (Tuesday). We prayed for wisdom, strategies and permanent solutions and very soon, Zimbabwe shall revive its glory. It shall recover its lost territories and overtake other African countries.

“We appreciate what the leaders have done so far, but we expect them to do more now, especially at this hour. Things shall be well for our country and it is not very far from now,” he said.

The conference, which ends today, has been running under the theme ‘Pursue, Overtake and Recover’ which is derived from 1 Samuel 30 v 8.

Hundreds of people from Zimbabwe and other African nations attended the conference.

Among the congregants was Minister of Youth, Indigenisation and Economic Empowerment, Patrick Zhuwao and leaders from inter-denominational churches in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, Zambia and South Africa.

During the conference, Apostle Vutabwashe also gave a powerful sermon on ‘The armour of light’, and encouraged Christians to be enlightened by God’s Word.

“Unless there is light in your life, you will struggle to rise because the devil will be taking advantage of you.

“The light comes in your life as the Word of God comes through your ear, that’s why the devil is trying by all means to deprive you from reading the Bible.

“If you have the light, you can enjoy living in majesty and commanding affluence knowing fully your package in Christ. But if you are ignorant of the Word, you are downsizing your package in Christ,” said Apostle Vutabwashe.

He emphasised the essence of light.

“In the presence of light, darkness disappears. God never attempted to create anything in darkness, before he even created anything on earth, he said let there be light.

“Then he did not take more than a day on each of his creations and makings which is why after seven days, he was done with everything. This means where there is light, there is production.”
